St. Maximus the Confessor Church

The mission dedicated to St. Maximus the Confessor was established at the directive of Archbishop Dmitri of Dallas and the South (OCA) and held its first service July 28, 2001. In January 2002, the mission was able to purchase a large house on an acre of land two blocks from the University of North Texas, which serves as its place of worship. Plans have been made to build a new temple on the property.
